Coyote Rally 2008

Two teams participated in the exciting Coyote Rally in April to raise funds for Chai.  Team Thunderbirds (Joanne Wagner and Katie Barres) and Coyote Team 6 (Alex Sholem, Daniel Cohen and Lee Wagner) raised a very impressive £4,000.

The brave participants drove across Europe over four fays.  Starting off in Paris they plotted their own route to Munich, then onto Prague, next to Amsterdam and finally home.  All this had to be driven in a car worth under £500 - fortunately both teams made it back safely and in one piece.

Thank you to both teams for raising these vital funds for Chai.

Poker Night

A Poker Night held in aid of Chai Cancer Care and two other charities was a complete success raising £1,000.00 for Chai Cancer Care.

Justine and Paul Deacon held a fabulous Charity Poker Night with all proceeds going to Chai Cancer Care and two other charities.

Over 50 people participated in the tournament with a whopping £1,000.00 prize money fund for the last three players standing, with Jamie Peters winning a prestigious trophy at the end of the evening.

It was a memorable night for all those who attended and everyone both winners and losers look forward to coming back next year.

Chai Cancer Care received £1,000.00 of funds raised on the night and would like to thank everyone involved.

Kidz Mini Mouthfuls raise money for Chai 

The year 6 girls Chesed Club at Broughton Jewish Cassel Fox Primary have been cooking up a storm to raise funds for Chai Cancer care.  the 15 pupils: Talia Gitlin, Pearl Gordon, Fleur Haber, Dena Hafner, Sophie Holder, Elisheva Kasmir, Anna Levine, Shire Miller, Talia Miller, Judith Moher, Etti Perez, Rachel Pine, Avital Prais, Rochelle Sayers and Mimi Steinberger created Kidz Mini Mouthfuls, a cookbook of their receipes, Proceeds from sales of the book totalled an fantastic sum of £1,500.00.
