Chai supporters celebrate Chai-lloween in style

Dressed to scare in their spooky attire, 200 supporters turned up in full party spirit to celebrate Young Chai’s ‘Chai-lloween’ at Mrs Fogg’s Maritime Club and Distillery on Saturday night.

The event, hosted by Adam Scott Murad and David Arblaster together with the Young Chai Committee raised over £5,000 which will go towards running Chai’s vital services.

With popular DJ’s; Aryell Moussaioff, Sarah Wolman and Ollie Ezra spinning crowd pleasers all night, everyone thoroughly enjoyed a frightful night of fun and dancing!

Adam Scott Murad said, “The evening was a huge success! I chose to organise an event in aid of Chai as I was inspired by the work they do to help the community. They dedicate their existence to it, so it’s only fair that we dedicated a night to raise funds for them. I’d like to say a special thank you to the staff at Mrs Fogg’s for all of their hard work on the night, Kosher Kingdom for providing the pick ‘n mix sweets and Snap That Photo for their awesome photo booth!”

Danni Blumenblatt, Chai’s Community Fundraiser said: “It was wonderful to work with Adam and David together with the Young Chai Committee. This event was the perfect opportunity to get the work of Chai out to a brand new audience.

Chai needs the community's generosity to help raise the £3 million it will cost to provide our services this year.  We are so grateful for the support of the Committee which has helped ensure that Chai can continue to provide its specialised services to all those in our community affected by a cancer diagnosis.”

Keep an eye on our Young Chai Facebook page for upcoming details of future events. We look forward to seeing you there!
