Chai’s Flagship Centre in Hendon was full to capacity on Sunday evening, as more than 75 guests attended ‘Singo – Bingo with a Twist’.

The event, hosted by the Love Chai Committee, Caroline Tunkel, Miriam Felder, Talia Lopian Savitz, Danielle Baron, Nikki Bloom, Stephanie Gerstler, raised £2,500 for Chai’s vital services.

After a warm welcome from the Committee, Avi Schlagman, DJ and MC for the night kicked off the musical Bingo.

Following the musical bingo, a raffle was drawn, with the lucky winners taking away exciting prizes including a Jimmy Choo handbag, signed Brazilian football shirt and a stay in the Mayfair Hotel.

Love Chai Committee Chairman, Caroline Tunkel, said: “We want the Love Chai Committee to bring awareness to young families and newlyweds in the Jewish community. We realised more and more people of our own age were telling us they had cancer and they needed to know about Chai.

Singo was our first event and a total success! We managed to raise £2,500 for Chai and get 75 people into the centre who had never been here before whilst having fun at the same time.”

Chai would like to thank the Love Chai Committee, for all their hard work and planning that went into making the event such a success!
