Cancer Reform Strategy Send this article to: Chai Cancer Care Wins Jewish Chronicle Charity Appeal 2008Chai was delighted to be chosen as one of the three winners of the 2008 Jewish Chronicle Charity Appeal. For the 2nd year running the Jewish Chronicle are urgning readers to donate to charities, nominated by them, that might otherwise be overlooked in the High Holy-Day season. Appeal judge Maureen Lipman backed Chai "because of the frightening rise in cases of the disease and because the organisation needs to spread to areas outside the capital". Chai Spreads Its WingsWith client numbers doubling and an increased demand for its services Chai is pleased to anounce that outline planning permission has been received for an exciting new development. Chai is delighted to be able to maintain its high standards and commitment to meet client needs with the redevelopment of The Wing at the rear of the Centre and introduction of new services. Email to a friendChai Services Now Available in Redbridge and South LondonChai launched its new South London service in July, services are run from Nightingale on Thursdays. Chai also runs a weekly services for the Essex Jewish community from the Redbridge Community Centre on Wednesdays.
