Chai Life Launches with Cocktails in the CityChai Life the new, young Chai Cancer Care business committee's launch event was a great success.Outlook Committee Bridge LunchOn 18th March the Outlook Committee held yet another successful fundraiser for Chai Cancer Care. The Committee work hard all year round running a number of key events for Chai and have never failed to run a well attended event thoroughly enjoyed by all and raising significant funds. Over 65 people attended the Bridge Lunch at Edgware Masorti Synagogue to play in the Duplicate Tournament. Danielle Ashton and Suzanne Robert were the winner with 62%. All players were treated to a delicious luncheon and had a great time. The event raised 1,300 for Chai Cancer Care services. Please visit our photo gallery to see photographs from the event. The Club 18 Golf Tournament 2009The Club 18 Golf Committee held yet another successful and thoroughly enjoyable fundraising event this year. Ladies Lunch with Guest Speaker Mary Portas, Queen of ShopsChai Cancer Care held its first fundraising Ladies Lunch Event on 30th June 2009. The room was buzzing with a really positive energy, everyone had a delicious lunch and went home with goody bags bursting with exciting gifts which were all very kindly donated. Charity Cinema Evening held by Circle of 8 Committee in aid of Chai Cancer Care Raising £2,015The Committee kindly nominated Chai as their chosen charity for a touching screening of My Sister's Keeper held at the Reel Cinema in Shenley. Golf Fore Chai 2009 TournamentThe new Golf Fore Chai Committee held their first tournament on 14th September 2009. The Chai Life Committee Hold Another Great EventChai Life, Chai Cancer Care’s new young business committee held its second sell-out event last week – a Winter Soiree, at Graphic Bar in Soho. It’s a Smash Hit for ChaiLast week Chai Cancer Care held its second table tennis tournament in memory of Patricia Davidson, at Norrice Lea Shul. Attended by over 100 people, with 51 participating in the tournament it was an exciting and fun evening all round. Chai's Annual Bridge Lunch 2010On Thursday the 4th of February Chai's annual Bridge Lunch, organised by The Outlook Committee was held at Badger's Croft in Totteridge and was an amazing sucess. |
