Outlook Committee Bridge Lunch

On 18th March the Outlook Committee held yet another successful fundraiser for Chai Cancer Care. The Committee work hard all year round running a number of key events for Chai and have never failed to run a well attended event thoroughly enjoyed by all and raising significant funds.

Over 65 people attended the Bridge Lunch at Edgware Masorti Synagogue to play in the Duplicate Tournament. Danielle Ashton and Suzanne Robert were the winner with 62%. All players were treated to a delicious luncheon and had a great time.

The event raised 1,300 for Chai Cancer Care services.

Ladies Lunch with Guest Speaker Mary Portas, Queen of Shops

Chai Cancer Care held its first fundraising Ladies Lunch Event on 30th June 2009. The room was buzzing with a really positive energy, everyone had a delicious lunch and went home with goody bags bursting with exciting gifts which were all very kindly donated.

It’s a Smash Hit for Chai

Last week Chai Cancer Care held its second table tennis tournament in memory of Patricia Davidson, at Norrice Lea Shul.  Attended by over 100 people, with 51 participating in the tournament it was an exciting and fun evening all round.
