Golf Fore Chai 2009 Tournament

The new Golf Fore Chai 2009 committee held their first tournament raising over £32,000 in support of Chai Cancer Care's services.

Over 90 players participated in a super day held in the stunning setting of Hartsbourne Country Club on a lovely sunny day.

Over a third of funds were raised through an auction with fantastic prizes which included weekend use of a Ferrari California; a five star trip to Barcelona; weekend stay at the Grosvenor House Hotel including £250 Top Shop voucher; a week stay including flights at Le Prince Maurice Hotel, Mauritius and much more. Additionally there was a phenomenal Hole in Once Prize of a Ferrari 360, donated by HR Owen, St Albans.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all participants who in addition to their round of golf had a delicious buffet breakfast and ended the day with a three course lunch.
