Cocktails in the City

Chai Cancer Care's new young business committee, Chai Life, held its launch event last week in an exclusive private members club in the West End. Over 250 people attended Cocktails in The City which raised over £6,000 to support Chai Cancer Care's services.

Funds were raised through ticket sales, a raffle with prizes which included a signed Arsenal Shirt and proceeds from the special Chai Cocktail concoction. Entertainment was provided by Magician Barry Harris.

The committee is made up of 18 young professionals from some of the UK?s top blue chip company who chose Chai due to the vital service we provide to the Community.

The Committee Chair, Paul Braham said:

"The new young business committee, Chai Life, was delighted to have run this successful fundraising event for such a worthy cause as Chai Cancer Care to further support the wonderful work the charity does.  All 18 of us worked extremely hard on our launch event, had a lots of fun planning it and are really looking forward to organising the next one."
