Chai Cancer Care's trained volunteers are indispensable and have all had some personal or family experience of cancer.  This ensures that they fully understand and appreciate the issues involved.  From manning the telephone helpline to befriending, bringing clients into the Centre or to hospital appointments, and even organising social activities.
