‘Team Chai’ Cycle 100 Miles in aid of Chai

On Sunday 4th August, Ben Forman, Ed Perchick and Mitchell Stanton formed Team Chai in this year’s Prudential Ride London – Surrey 100 challenge. The 3 cycle challengers took on the world famous route from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to The Mall raising £4,500 so far for Chai.

 

Ben Forman chose to raise money for two charities close to his heart, Chai and Shelter. Prior to the challenge, Ben said: “Having benefitted first hand from the fantastic work of Chai over the past 7 months during my wife, Louise’s battle with cancer, I cannot speak highly enough of the work they do.”

Ben completed the 100 mile challenge in 7 hours 21 minutes and 46 seconds. Mitchell completed the 46 mile route in 3 hours 1 minute and 54 seconds and Ed completed the 100 mile cycle in 7 hours 14 minutes and 18 seconds.

Following the challenge, Ed, said: “It was my honour to raise money for such an important charity helping people in their darkest hour.”
